The Bell & Howell Sidekick 1400 features color and bitonal (consisting of foreground and background color) capabilities. The speed and image quality is ideal for an entry-level scanner. Connectivity is simple via a USB 2.0 port and 50 pin SCSI III interface (consisting of a standard port between a computer and its peripherals), the ‘do-it-yourself’ setup reduces the need for technical support saving you time and money and you can replace the rollers with minimal effort.

Outfitted with Kofax’s new Capio software that specializes in professional document capturing solutions, it automatically checks and adjusts alignment, brightness, contrast and image clarity reducing the need to rescan documents.
